1759, First Edition. London : B Long and T Pridden. Good copy in contemporary full calf over boards, now somewhat scuffed. Corners bumped, with panel edges worn. Spine gilt-tooled with raised bands, with joints worn, particularly at the ends. Leather label now lacking. Text complete and entirely sound, but both pastedowns are lacking, with front and rear blanks torn and marked. Remains clean on the whole, showing only the expected faint foxing and offsetting of age. A well-preserved example overall. Item #480653
