Lacks title page and six unnumbered pages at the end; main text of books 1-8 complete. Corners bumped, panel edges worn. Endbands crumbling slightly; joints cracked with spine supports holding secure. Some pencil marks on pastedowns, with reader inscription (1809) in ink to front. Text block remains tight and strong overall, showing the expected faint foxing or offsetting of age. A very serviceable copy of a 300-year-old book. Item #469364
