Frithiof's saga : a legend of the North
1839, First Edition. Stockholm : A. Bonnier ; London : Black and Armstrong. Good copy only in contemporary plain boards, backed with cloth by a printed label mounted, now scuffed and dust-dulled. Corners bumped, with panel edges rubbed. Title label damp-stained and worn but legible. Both joints split with hinges cracked, but sewing holding secure. Faint scattered foxing throughout with some leaves marginally creased; folded matter remains crisp, albeit with some showing tears (no loss) to the gutter. A very serviceable example overall.
