Leather heavily worn and showing some surface loss, with cloth lifting slightly at the seams. Spine with raised bands, showing minor abrasions and with endbands somewhat torn at the joints. Gilt-blocked black leather spine label, now partly lacking. Rear hinge starting; text block remaining tight with marble edges (now faded) and lightly foxed throughout.
