Spines gilt-tooled with raised bands and leather labels, some lacking. Spine surfaces and endbands heavily rubbed. Vol. 9 front pastedown with a contemporary inscription, and minor ink spots to the fore-edge. Text blocks remain notably tight, bright and clean, showing only faint foxing or offsetting.
