Poor copy, in contemporary leather-backed boards, with front board covered with marbled paper and the rear paper cover now mostly lacking. Both boards heavily dust-dulled, with edges rubbed. Spine similarly rubbed, with minor surface loss at the head and a lengthwise medial split from head to tail. This split corresponds to a break in the text block from p. 190-191, though the top two stitches are holding. Text defective, lacking t.p., pp. 1-2 and 417-420. Preliminary and final leaves somewhat dust-dulled and foxed, with the leaves remaining otherwise strong, showing only the faint, scattered foxing and offsetting expected of age. Item #461568
