1834, First Edition. London : Charles Knight. Good copy only in half leather over marbled boards, now heavily rubbed on the surface and edges, with corners bumped. Gilt-blocked red leather label mounted to the spine, which is now heavily rubbed, as are the joints and endbands. Hinges cracked, with sewing holding secure. Text block sound if somewhat foxed and dust-dulled throughout, with some marginal creasing and tears. Remains a very serviceable copy overall. Item #459177
