Gilt-blocked spine title, and armorial motif to front board. Front hinge broken and board attached with cloth tape over endpapers; rear hinge broken and board held by a single thread. Vividly marbled endpapers and edges; prize label to front pastedown. Internally sound, with tight gatherings and light foxing confined to prelims and margins. A very serviceable copy. Item #455306
