1714, First Edition. A Lyon : chez Antoine Boudet. Good copy in the original full leather binding, with raised bands and gilt-tooled spine (one compartment lacking its panel). The boards are heavily worn, with rubbed edges. Marbled endpapers; light foxing to prelims. Faint damp stain to upper margin of approx pp.697-759. The text is remarkably clean and tight for its age, despite minor stiffening and rippling of pages from damp. A generally well-preserved copy. Provenance: Bookplate of Edward Duke of Norfolk.
