The extents of the estate are highlighted in pink, with annotations in pen. Surrounding areas on the map include Ewe Down, South Hill, Cuckmere River, Cuckmere Haven, Seven Sisters (2), Friston, Friston Forsest and West Dean. The Seven Sisters Country Park The park was formed in 1971 when the Council bought the Exceat Estate and part of the Gayles Estate covering part of the Cuckmere Valley and the coastline round Cuckmere Haven.
